What starts the job
The owner supplies a quote request, an exact enquiry is selected, or an approved employee handoff provides the verified customer details.
A bathroom enquiry includes measurements and labour but no confirmed customer price for a shower valve. Quote Builder asks for that one price, then continues the same quote and creates the checked PDF.

An owner-supplied request plus confirmed onboarding facts and selected Sources can still produce a checked quote and PDF. Without Gmail, it stays ready to download or share manually.

- The selected price route is blocked or the recipient is ambiguous.

Control and hand-off
Prepared work stays separate from an outward action.
The quote is prepared before any outward action. Gmail delivery always requires approval; Full Auto cannot send the PDF. After delivery it may offer Quote Chaser; after acceptance it may offer Booking Assistant. Every employee link remains owner-approved.
Clear boundaries
What Quote Builder deliberately does not do.
- It never guesses a price, quantity, tax rule, term, recipient or availability.
- It never treats a supplier cost as the customer sell price.
- It never exposes cost or margin on the customer PDF.
- Outlook may supply the enquiry, but Outlook PDF delivery is not claimed for this version.
- It does not order materials, take payment or make a booking.
